Job summary

Archer Daniels Midland Company in Decatur, IL is seeking a Logistics Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations, safety, quality and production on a rotating 12-hour schedule. This role emphasizes mentorship of front-line operators and collaboration with contractors and ADM colleagues to ensure safe, efficient performance.

You will oversee training, SOP adherence, PPE compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives within a union facility environment.

Qualifications

• Previous plant processing and leadership experience (in a union environment is a plus)
• Ability to lead and train colleagues and build teams
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
• Experience in a lead/supervisor role in continuous manufacturing operations is a plus

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily operations performed by hourly production colleagues to ensure work is performed safely and efficiently while meeting environmental quality, housekeeping, and production goals
• Provide training to ensure employees understand SOPs, safe work practices, PPE requirements, and policies
• Create and assign tasks to effectively utilize team members' experience and capabilities
• Ensures the safety of all colleagues through training and compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations
