Job summary

Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) in Newman, WA, is seeking a Production Planner to optimize daily and weekly schedules for our Packhall facility. You will use forecasts, confirmed orders and rolling averages to maintain optimal stock levels that meet on-time delivery targets while considering safety, quality and maintenance needs.

The role requires strong analytical thinking, problem solving and communication skills, with experience in MRP/ERP systems such as QAD or MFG Pro.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Proven experience in production planning, scheduling or procurement in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of production and packaging operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize daily and weekly production schedules.
• Manage MRP to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
• Maintain planning parameters in the MRP system including safety stock.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, logistics, and procurement teams.
• Monitor production progress in ERP and address delays or shortages.
• Review sales forecasts with Account Managers to align plans.
• Prepare KPI reports and provide improvement recommendations.
• Identify and implement process improvements in planning and materials management.
