Job summary

The Continental Sorrento is seeking a passionate Wedding & Events Coordinator to join our luxury hospitality team on the Mornington Peninsula. You will partner with couples, corporate clients and event organisers to plan and deliver weddings, conferences and celebrations from inquiry to execution.

You\'ll coordinate menus, styling, timelines and suppliers across our restaurants, hotel and event spaces, while delivering an exceptional client experience and growing the venue\'s premium events

Qualifications

• Experience in event coordination, wedding planning, event sales or hospitality.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills.
• Warm, professional approach to client relationships.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple events.
• Confidence communicating with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
• Proactive attitude and passion for creating exceptional experiences.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate luxury weddings, corporate conferences, gala dinners and private celebrations.
• Build relationships with clients and guide them through the event planning process.
• Manage event details including menus, styling, floor plans, suppliers and timelines.
• Prepare event documentation and coordinate with operations teams for seamless delivery.
• Assist with enquiries, proposals, site inspections and securing new bookings.
• Work with a team across restaurants, hotel and event spaces.
