InterContinental Sydney Double Bay is seeking a friendly Guest Service Agent to deliver warm, personalized service at a luxury five-star property. You will manage check-ins/outs, bookings, transactions and guest inquiries, ensuring a seamless stay and memorable experiences for guests from around the world.

Qualifications

• Full working rights in Australia (no sponsorship).
• Experience as a Guest Service Agent at a luxury hotel preferred; 1+ year front desk/guest service.
• Mandatory RSA certification.
• Experience with Opera PMS is advantageous.
• Ability to provide luxury guest experiences and local knowledge.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Impeccable grooming standards and personal hygiene.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Physically fit to stand for long hours and lift up to 23 kg with equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests, starting a memorable experience.
• Manage check-ins, check-outs, and bookings, including upselling.
• Handle cash and card transactions securely.
• Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests.
• Be a brand ambassador and maintain professional appearance.
• Provide local knowledge and assist guests, coordinating with management as needed.
