Four Seasons Hotel Sydney is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant Manager to balance day-to-day management of the Mode Kitchen & Bar and ensure smooth operation of our main service periods while developing and engaging the team. You will problem solve and deliver results for the business, focusing on people, product and profit.

To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate will have a solid track record in high quality hotels/restaurants, a passion for delivering a memorable dining

Qualifikationen

• Two years' experience in a restaurant leadership role in a 5* hotel with a high focus on quality whilst operating at high volumes.
• A passion to provide an outstanding guest experience.
• A leadership style that is authentic and engaging.
• Strong communication and collaboration with hotel departments.

Aufgaben

• Maintain a strong operational presence across all meal serving periods to ensure service standards and the guest experience remain at an optimum
• Provide leadership, development, support, coaching and constructive feedback for the team
• Cultivate a culture that encourages people to connect and thrive, allowing people space to be themselves, whilst aligning the team with restaurant goals
• Drive performance, by setting metrics and benchmarks, identifying ways to improve how we do things and leading the way with industry trends
• Be proactively involved with the recruitment, selection and retention efforts in order to ensure that top talent are sought, confirmed and retained
• Develop strong internal relationships across the hotel ensuring solid partnerships with those who will contribute to the success of the Food & Beverage Division
• Closely managing labour and operating expenses through effective scheduling, purchasing decisions and stock control
