Shoreline Kitchen is seeking a passionate Commis Chef to join our evolving Sydney dining concept. You will work across sections, learn from senior chefs, and contribute to a produce-driven menu in a busy, vibrant environment.

You’ll be hands-on from day one, focusing on quality, consistency, and collaboration with a dynamic team, delivering excellent dining experiences while growing your culinary craft.

Qualificações

• Proven pastry chef experience in a fast paced and quality driven working environment.
• Well-developed ability to work independently and as part of a strong, diverse and dynamic team.
• Must be passionate about food and keen to showcase their ability in fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organisational skills and strong work ethic.
• Enthusiasm, awareness and great teamwork.
• Able to communicate and showcase reliability.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Uphold high standards of food production, presentation, hygiene, and safety across every shift.
• Workspaces and equipment are clean, organised, and compliant, always.
• Prepare mise en place to support smooth operations across current and upcoming shifts.
• Manage your section efficiently, maintaining strong organisation and workflow throughout service.
• Take ownership of your space and your output.
• Follow direction from senior chefs, ensuring food is prepared and presented to professional standards.
• Support safe work practices, correct food storage and labelling, equipment maintenance reporting, and cross team communication.
