Job summary

Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour in Circular Quay seeks a Commis Chef to learn from our senior chefs and contribute to dishes that reflect our premium harbour-side dining culture.

You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, receive ongoing training, uphold HACCP standards, and collaborate with a close-knit team to deliver high-quality plates across shifts. Flexible hours, including mornings and evenings, weekends and public holidays, with access to Accor’s training platforms.

Qualifications

• Recognised culinary training and employment experience.
• Commercial cookery certification and food safety certificate preferred.
• Ambition, talent and passion for food; willing to receive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food presented to guests meets standards and is served timely.
• Adhere to health, safety and HACCP regulations.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency and efficiency in food preparation.
• Receive training from senior chefs and implement guidance.
• Handle kitchen tasks from dishwashing to dish preparation.
