Job summary

NEPEAN Longwall is seeking a Project Manager to lead major underground longwall projects from Kurri Kurri. You will own planning, execution, and close-out, ensuring delivery within time, cost and quality targets while building strong client relationships.

The role requires an underground mining background, PMP certification, and a engineering/construction management degree, with 5+ years’ experience managing $2M+ projects.

Qualifications

• Underground mining background with longwall experience.
• PMP accreditation and a degree/diploma in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 5 years managing multimillion-dollar projects (≥$2M).
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Pronto preferred), MS Office, MS Project and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Plan: Create detailed Project Execution Plans, manage risks, and optimize designs.
• Facilitate: Act as the primary client contact, ensure contract compliance, and drive quality outcomes.
• Control & Report: Track budgets, costs, and schedules while ensuring accurate invoicing.
• Close-Out: Complete timely reviews, secure certificates, and archive documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive process improvements for better project outcomes.
