Job summary

NEPEAN Longwall in Kurri Kurri is seeking a Project Manager to oversee large-scale underground mining projects, delivering on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

You will lead project planning, execution, and close-out, manage client relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. A PMP and engineering/ Construction Management degree are preferred, with 5+ years of Longwall project leadership and ERP/MS tools experience.

Qualifications

• Underground mining background with Longwall experience.
• PMP accreditation and an Engineering or Construction Management degree/diploma.
• 5+ years managing $2M+ projects in Longwall mining.
• Experience with Pronto ERP, MS Office, MS Project and SharePoint.
• Strong leadership, financial, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan: Create detailed Project Execution Plans, manage risks and optimize designs.
• Facilitate: Act as the primary client contact, ensure contract compliance and drive quality outcomes.
• Control & Report: Track budgets, costs and schedules with accurate invoicing.
• Close-Out: Complete timely reviews, secure certificates and archive documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements for better project outcomes.
