Job summary

NEPEAN Longwall in Kurri Kurri, Australia, is seeking a Project Manager to oversee large-scale underground mining projects, ensuring delivery on time, cost, and quality while building strong client relationships.

You will lead planning, execution, and close-out, manage risks, and coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and field operations to drive safe, efficient project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Underground mining background with Longwall experience.
• PMP accreditation.
• Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.

Responsibilities

Take the Lead as a Project Manager at NEPEAN Longwall!

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Project Manager located in our Kurri Kurri office to oversee large-scale projects, ensuring delivery within time, cost, and quality metrics. You’ll play a pivotal role in project planning, execution, and close-out, driving excellence and building strong client relationships.

What You’ll Do

• Plan: Create detailed Project Execution Plans, manage risks, and optimize designs.

• Control & Report: Track budgets, costs, and schedules while ensuring accurate invoicing.
• Close-Out: Complete timely reviews, secure certificates, and archive documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive process improvements for better project outcomes.

What You Bring

• Underground Mining Background, with Longwall experience.
• PMP accreditation and a degree/diploma in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5+ years managing $2M+ projects highly regarded, ideally in Longwall Mining.
• Expertise in ERP systems (Pronto preferred), MS Office, MS Project, and SharePoint.
• Strong leadership, financial, and problem‑solving skills.
