Job summary

NEPEAN Longwall seeks an experienced Electrical Supervisor to establish and build the Electrical Department at the Kurri Kurri workshop in NSW. You will lead the wiring, inspection, repair, overhaul, and commissioning of electrical fit outs on small to large projects.

You will mentor electricians and apprentices, ensure AS3000/AS3800/AS4871 standards, and collaborate with the Projects team to meet timelines and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• NSW electrical trade qualifications are essential.
• Experience leading electricians and apprentices.
• Strong ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Interpret electrical schematics, drawings and scopes of work.
• Carry out control and power wiring of equipment.
• Fault finding and functional testing of electrical systems.
• AS3800 overhaul experience and safety compliance.
• Lead, mentor and manage electricians and apprentices.
• Coordinate with Projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
