Job summary

NEPEAN Longwall is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to establish and lead the Electrical Department at the Kurri Kurri workshop in NSW. You will oversee inspection, repair, overhaul and commissioning of electrical fit outs across small and large project overhauls, driving safety, quality workmanship and timely delivery with strong leadership of electricians and apprentices.

The role requires interpreting schematics, managing budgets, and liaising with Projects to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• NSW electrical trade qualifications required.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
• Strong organisation and time-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and scopes of work.
• Carry out control and power wiring of electrical equipment.
• Fault finding and functional testing of electrical systems and equipment.
• AS3800 level overhaul of intrinsically safe control equipment.
• Ensure high quality workmanship delivered on time and within budget.
• Maintain calibration of electrical test equipment.
• Lead electricians, trades assistants and apprentices.
