Job summary

Nolan's Interstate Transport—Sunshine VIC is seeking experienced logistics planners for day shifts. Permanent full-time roles with rosters Sun–Thu or Tue–Sat, starting around 6:00am, to ensure freight is delivered safely, on time and to high standards.

You will plan and allocate freight, coordinate with customers and drivers, and supervise ops staff while ensuring CoR and fatigue management compliance. Strong domain knowledge and customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in transport and logistics, ideally in operations, scheduling or allocator roles.
• A sound understanding of Heavy Vehicle National Law, Chain of Responsibility and Fatigue Management.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with customers, drivers and colleagues.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience in refrigerated, FMCG or palletised freight operations is valued.

• Coordinating daily transport activities with customers and drivers.
• Monitoring and managing driver compliance with Standard Hours, BFM and AFM requirements.

• Supervising and supporting drivers and operational staff.
• Ensuring compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Fatigue Management and Company procedures.

About the Role

Permanent full time positions available, with rosters either working Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday with start times of approximately 6.00am to finish .

As a logistics planner you will play a key role in coordinating our refrigerated fleet, ensuring freight is delivered safely, effectively and on time while providing exceptional services to our customers.

You will be responsibilities will include:

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

Previous experience within the transport and logistics industry, ideally in an operations, scheduling or allocator role.

A sound understanding of Heavy Vehicle National Law, Chain of Responsibility and Fatigue Management requirements.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers, drivers and colleagues.

High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

The following will be highly regarded

Operations Schedulers Certification (TLIF0006) or a willingness to obtain.

Experience within refrigerated, FMCG or palletised freight operations.

Truck licence and/or High Risk Forklift Licence.

Knowledge of warehouse operations.
