Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records, documentation and system data (PODs, stock movements and job paperwork).
• Obtaining quotes and purchasing materials/services as required.
• Coordinating third-party freight when required.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and the customer experience.
• Support and foster a positive team environment aligned with core values.
• Inventory control / stock management.

We are an industry leader, established in the building contracting sector with a well-developed reputation for excellence and high performance.

We are looking for a hands-on Logistics Coordinator to join our team in QLD. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to grow their career and help drive efficient operations across transport and logistics. Formwork or temporary works experience will be an advantage but not necessary. You will have the opportunity to be part of some of the biggest upcoming construction projects taking place in Queensland.

About the Role: This is a full-time position which will see you work from our HQ in Logan Village. Local construction industry experience will be an advantage but is not essential.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and takes real ownership of their work. This is a hands-on role for a team player who can connect the dots between our yard, transport and project teams.

Maintaining accurate records, documentation and system data, including PODs, stock movements and job paperwork. Experience with Avontus Quantify and Jobpac will be an advantage, but training will be provided regardless.

Obtaining quotes and purchasing materials/services as required

Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and the customer experience.

Skills and experience

• Logistics, warehouse or transport coordination experience preferred but not necessary.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
• Confident with computer systems; experience with MS Office, Avontus Quantify, TMS, Jobpac is a bonus
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Excellent communication at all levels.
• Ability to identify and solve problems as they come up.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Must have a 'can do' attitude.
• Ability to work to tight schedules and deadlines.
