Job summary

DT Infrastructure, part of Gamuda Berhad, seeks a Logistics Coordinator to manage delivery, storage, and distribution of materials on a major Sydney construction site. You will ensure safety, quality and cost-efficiency while supporting project milestones.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in logistics within construction, White Card and a valid driver licence, and a tertiary qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in a logistics or supply chain role within the construction industry.
• General Construction Induction Card (White Card) and a current Driver Licence.
• Tertiary qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• Strong organisational, problem-solving and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule all material deliveries to align with construction activities and milestones.
• Review delivery bookings, manage sequencing, and coordinate loading dock, crane and unloading needs.
• Act as liaison between suppliers, subcontractors and transport providers for on-time delivery.
• Prepare and present daily, weekly, and pre-start logistics reports for site management.
• Receive and reconcile delivery dockets against purchase orders and schedules.
• Maintain inventory records, location tracking, and movement logs.
• Conduct stocktakes and audits to ensure traceability from receipt to installation.
• Identify, isolate and manage non-conforming, damaged, or defective materials.
• Facilitate supplier returns, replacement material requests and credit claims.
• Maintain comprehensive quality records and registers.

We are seeking a hands-on Logistics Coordinator to drive the delivery, storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and supplies across our project construction site in Sydney. In this critical role, you will ensure our logistics operations seamlessly support project milestones while upholding strict safety, quality, and cost-efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule all material deliveries to align perfectly with construction activities and critical project milestones.
• Review and approve delivery bookings, manage complex sequencing, and coordinate loading dock, crane, and unloading requirements.
• Act as the primary liaison between suppliers, subcontractors, and transport providers to guarantee efficient, on-time delivery performance.
• Prepare and present daily, weekly, and pre-start logistics reports for site management.
• Receive and accurately reconcile delivery dockets against purchase orders and schedules.
• Maintaininventory records, material location tracking systems, and movement logs.
• Conduct regular stocktakes and material audits to ensure 100% traceability from receipt through to final installation.
• Identify, isolate, and manage non-conforming, damaged, or defective materials.
• Facilitate all supplier returns, replacement material requests, and credit claims.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate quality records and registers.

About You

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar logistics or supply chain role within the construction industry.
• A strong, practical understanding of all aspects of construction project delivery.
• General Construction Induction Card (White Card) and a current Driver Licence.
• Tertiary qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain Management.
