Metcash Limited is seeking a Logistics Administration Manager to lead the Logistics Administration team at Gepps Cross, SA, and support warehouse and transport operations across SA and Darwin ALM. You will drive performance, stakeholder engagement, and a customer-focused culture in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes people leadership, payroll accuracy for ~300 staff, and oversight of procurement, invoicing and reporting to improve efficiency and governance within the Food & ALM

Qualifications

• Experience leading administration or operational support teams.
• Strong payroll processes knowledge and administration systems.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics, supply chain or FMCG environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Outstanding organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proven track record in process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Understanding of budgeting, P&L and financial processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Logistics Coordinators with coaching and development.
• Ensure payroll for ~300 site-based team members is accurate and timely.
• Manage site pallet and crate inventory and conduct stocktakes.
• Oversee non-trade procurement, freight invoicing and expense management.
• Handle customer claims investigations and maintain service levels.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across logistics, operations and finance.
• Drive process improvements for administration functions.
• Support leaders with admin and reporting requirements.
• Foster team engagement and a positive site culture.
• Ensure policy, HACCP, WHS and regulatory compliance.
