Job summary

Queensland Country Bank is seeking a Local Home Loan Specialist for the Ayr branch to join a friendly team. You will deliver personalised lending support for personal loans, cards and mortgages while building trusted Member relationships in the Ayr region.

You’ll support loan processing, coach staff, and lead the mortgage retention program, focusing on service quality and accuracy within a community‑mocused team.

Qualifications

• Lending experience and sales skills.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Solid mathematical skills and Excel proficiency.
• Competent with Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with Queensland Country products and services (desired).

Responsibilities

• Provide lending support for personal, card and mortgage needs.
• Assist with loan processing and distribution across the Ayr region.
• Coach and mentor staff to maintain service standards.
• Lead and manage the mortgage retention program for Members.
