Queensland Country Bank is seeking a Local Home Loan Specialist for the Ayr branch to join a friendly team. You will deliver personalised lending support for personal loans, cards and mortgages while building trusted Member relationships in the Ayr region.

You’ll support loan processing, coach staff, and lead the mortgage retention program, focusing on service quality and accuracy within a community‑mocused team.

Are you passionate about helping people achieve their financial goals? We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Local Home Loan Specialist to join our friendly and supportive team at the Ayr branch, where collaboration, trust and a great team culture are at the heart of what we do.

In this role, you’ll provide exceptional, personalised lending support to both new and existing Members. You’ll handle a variety of lending needs, from personal and credit card loans to more complex mortgage applications, while building strong relationships and becoming a trusted point of contact. You’ll be supported by a close‑knit team that values shared success, work‑life balance and professional growth.

You’ll also support the Area Manager with business development initiatives, help manage loan processing and distribution and play a key role in coaching and mentoring staff. A vital part of the role involves leading our mortgage retention program to ensure our Ayr Members feel supported and valued throughout their lending journey. This is a full time position based on a 38-hour working week, Monday to Friday. The successful applicant may be required to work at branches within the region, as required.
