Job summary

Queensland Country Bank is seeking an Area Manager for the Ipswich region to lead branches, drive lending growth, and build strong community relations. You will mentor your team, champion member-focused financial solutions, and deliver strategic BD initiatives across Riverlink and Booval.

The role is full-time, 38 hours per week, with flexibility to work outside standard hours as needed, and emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and a passion for community involvement.

• Deliver strategic business development initiatives, expanding our member base, and building strong relationships within the community across the Ipswich region (Riverlink and Booval branches).
• Mentor and develop the lending team in best practice lending strategies to ensure exceptional service.
• Drive growth through new opportunities and community engagement to strengthen member value.
• Ensure members receive tailored financial solutions and superior service, supported by sound lending judgement.

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and self-motivated people leader with strong business development and lending expertise to join us as Area Manager for our Ipswich region.

In this pivotal role, you will showcase your leadership capabilities and play a key role in driving growth across our Riverlink and Booval branches. Leveraging your deep industry knowledge and proven track record in lending, you will be responsible for delivering strategic business development initiatives, expanding our member base, and building strong relationships within the community.

Your financial acumen and lending expertise will be critical in identifying new opportunities, mentoring your team in best practice lending strategies, and ensuring our members receive exceptional service and tailored financial solutions.

This is a full-time, based on a 38-hour working week, Monday to Friday, however the successful applicant must be prepared to work outside of these hours if required.
