Job summary

Rindean Quarry Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced loader and excavator operator to oversee the sand wash plant at Somersby on the Central Coast. The ideal candidate will have machine-operating experience, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to load trucks with quarry materials.

This is a full-time, long-term position with a negotiable salary and standard weekday hours.

Qualifications

• Excavator and loader tickets are required.
• White card and good communication skills are essential.
• Honest, reliable, proactive and strong work ethic expected.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate best practices of the site's assets to optimise production.
• Ensure the day to day operations of the quarry operate successfully.
• Manage and maintain company policies, process plans and operational procedures.
• Take initiative in direction of quarry operations and activities.
• Supervise activities undertaken at the quarry.
• Apply knowledge to manage health and safety risks relevant to mining operations.
• Maintain equipment with mechanical knowledge.
• Operate excavators and loaders, feeding the sand wash plant.
• Oversee the running of sand screeners and wash plant.
• Load all trucks out of the quarry and organise dockets.

Loader/ Excavator Mechanically Minded Operator

Rindean Quarry Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced loader and excavator operator and someone to oversee the sand wash plant. The quarry is located at Somersby on the Central Coast. The right applicant will have relevant experience operating machinery, being mechanically minded and able to load trucks with our quarry materials.

This is a full time, long-term position with a negotiable salary.

Hours of operation:

Monday - Friday: 6:30am - 5pm

Saturday: 7am - 1pm (As needed)

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Coordinate best practices of the sites assets to optimise production

Ensure the day to day operations of the quarry operate successfully

Manage and maintain company policies, process plans and operational procedures

Take initiative in direction of quarry operations and activities

Supervise activities undertaken at the quarry

Source and apply current knowledge in the management of work health and safety risks that are relevant to mining operation

Maintenance of equipment and mechanical knowledge

Operate excavators and loaders, feeding the sand wash plant

Oversee the running of the sand screeners and wash plant

Loading all trucks out of the quarry and completing/ organising dockets
