Job summary

Midway Mini-Mix in Craigieburn, Victoria, is seeking an experienced Loader Driver to safely operate a front-end loader, load materials into trucks and manage yard stock. You will perform daily pre-start checks, maintain the loader, and work with plant operators and truck drivers to ensure accurate loading.

The role offers above-award hourly rates, penalty rates, and superannuation, with opportunities for overtime. A loader ticket and a medical/drug & alcohol test are required.

Qualifications

• Front-end loader ticket or competency required.
• Previous loader or quarry/yard experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a medical and drug & alcohol test.
• Commitment to safe work practices at all times.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating a front-end loader to load materials into trucks, hoppers, and bins.
• Handling and stockpiling raw materials across the yard.
• Conducting daily pre-start checks and general maintenance of the loader.
• Ensuring accurate loading and following weighbridge or batching instructions.
• Maintaining a clean and organised yard and work area.
• Working collaboratively with plant operators, truck drivers, and other departments.
