Job summary

Workfast is seeking a reliable candidate for an ongoing casual role on quarry sites in Queensland. You will operate loaders, dump trucks, excavators or watercarts, with a view to permanent full-time after an initial period. Immediate start and plenty of hours are available.

Candidates should have 2–3+ years of machinery experience and hold an Excavator, Front End Loader, and Haul Pack tickets. A strong can-do attitude and ability to work with a foreman and team are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years experience operating machinery.
• Front End Loader ticket required.
• Watercart or Moxy tickets are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Operate loaders, dump trucks, excavators or watercarts on quarry site.
• Fulfill foreman/site manager duties as assigned.
• Load and unload trucks as part of daily operations.
• Work effectively within a team.

What you need

• Excavator Ticket, Front End Loader & Haul Pack
• Any other ticket is a bonus Watercart or Moxy
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• 2-3+ years experience
• Willing to work hard and have a 'can do' attitude
• Drivers Licence and own vehicle to get to site
• Able to pass a medical
