Job summary

Austmix Concrete in Port of Brisbane, Qld is seeking an experienced Front End Loader Driver / Yardman for our mobile concrete batch plant. This full-time role involves operating a front end loader to keep the batch plant stocked and supporting yard operations.

You will work as part of a small team, with safety focus, potential night shifts and weekend work, and meal allowances and penalty rates as per the EBA.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a front end loader in a concrete plant is desirable.
• White Card (Desirable).
• Heavy Rigid License (Desirable).
• Strong commitment to safe work practices.
• Good communication and attention to detail.
• Willing to work night shifts and weekends if required.
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Work with batcher to ensure continuous production.
• Drive loader to keep batch plant full of materials.
• Receive and move raw material deliveries into bays.
• Stock management and coordination of deliveries.
• Manage contractors carrying out site maintenance and repairs.
• Yard and plant maintenance; potential to learn batching/testing.

Location: Port of Brisbane

We are currently seeking an experienced Front End Loader Driver / Yardman for our mobile concrete batch plant located at Port of Brisbane, Qld. Key features of the role are:

Full Time role

Over time, meal allowances and penalty rates as per EBA

Requirements:

• Front end loader experience in concrete plant (Desirable)
• White Card (Desirable)
• Heavy Rigid License (Desirable)
• Strong Commitment to Safe Work Practices
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Willing and able to work night shifts and weekends (if required)
• Must be reliable, flexible and able to work within a small team

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Working closely with batcher to ensure continuous production
• Driving front end loader to keep batch plant full of materials
• Receiving and moving raw material deliveries into correct material bays
• Stock management and coordination of raw material deliveries
• Managing contractors carrying out site maintenance and repairs
• Yard and plant maintenance/ potential to also learn concrete batching and testing on site
