Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking a reliable, safety-focused individual for Concrete Plant operations in the Perth Metro Region. The role involves batching and loading the company fleet, coordinating deliveries, and responding to customer enquiries.

Training will be provided, overtime is required, and a long-week schedule (6 days) applies. The position offers career development and comprehensive benefits as part of a global brand.

Qualifications

• Experience in concrete batching is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
• Forklift and front end loader tickets are advantageous and may be gained in role.

Responsibilities

• Manage batching and loading of Heidelberg Materials fleet for delivery to customers.
• Balance customer needs and fleet allocation to maximise productivity and efficiency.
• Engage with customers and respond to enquiries.
• Monitor orders to ensure delivery and product quality.

In Your New Role With Us, You Will

• Manage batching and loading of Heidelberg Materials fleet for delivery to our valued customers
• Make decisions that impact the overall performance of the business
• Balance our customers' needs and allocation of fleet through effective planning and decision making to ensure maximum fleet productivity, utilisation and efficiency
• Engage with customers and respond to enquiries
• Manage and monitor orders to ensure delivery and products meet quality requirements

About Us

Heidelberg Materials Australia is a leading supplier of heavy building materials to the construction industry, through our network of over 300 quarry's, ready‑mixed concrete plants, logistics and support operations.

Concrete batching or truck scheduling / logistics experience is highly desirable however not essential as training will be provided. This opportunity is a permanent full‑time role and required 6 days per week, Monday to Saturday - with ample overtime and weekend work, in accordance with business needs.
