Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising operations in a dynamic, high-energy environment.
• Strong leadership and people skills; able to make tough calls with confidence.
• Excellent communication across face-to-face, radio, phone and digital channels.
• Good analytical skills with ability to interpret performance data.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of Network Controllers—coaching through regular 1-1s to boost performance and growth.
• Own network activities end-to-end, driving on-time running, reliability and incident management.
• Collaborate with the Manager – Network Performance to shape proactive network strategies.
• Be the first point of call during incidents and emergencies, providing fast, confident support.
• Bridge communication between Network Controllers, depots, workshops and external stakeholders.
• Analyze performance data and team feedback to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
• Maintain accurate logging and escalation of disruptions per policy.
• Identify talent and training opportunities to level up the team.
