Job summary

Kinetic is seeking a proactive Dispatch Controller for our Noosa Depot to coordinate driver and vehicle movements, respond swiftly to incidents, and help deliver safe, reliable services in our community.

Based at Noosa with occasional duties at Caloundra and Marcoola, you’ll monitor transport networks, allocate resources, and ensure payroll data accuracy, while staying calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in monitoring transport networks with strong attention to detail is preferred but not essential.
• Proficiency in computer systems and communication tools.
• MR or equivalent drivers license preferred or willing to obtain.
• Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to dynamic environments.
• This role will be based at our Noosa Depot, with occasional work required at our Caloundra and Marcoola Depots.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate bus and employee operational movements, in relation to scheduled bus services and routes, and to meet requirements for maintenance, fueling and other bus and service requirements.
• Assist in management of resources including allocating resources, managing headcount, planned leave, absenteeism and day to day employee availability to deliver business operations.
• Ensuring all work allocated to employees complies with National Fatigue guidelines and meets all regulations and Enterprise Agreements.
• Manage as needed, any planned variations to employee’s rosters/timesheets and associated data entry or pay query processes to ensure payroll is correctly processed on a weekly basis.
• Assist in charter allocations, quoting and communication with Sales support team.

Kinetic is looking for a proactive Dispatch Controller to join our brand-new Noosa Depot and help keep live transport operations running smoothly. In this role, you'll coordinate driver and vehicle movements, respond quickly to incidents, and play a key part in delivering safe, reliable services for our community.

We welcome candidates from a range of backgrounds—whether you have direct experience in transport operations or bring transferable skills from fast-paced environments such as logistics, emergency services, customer service, or operations coordination.
