Job summary

2 Shores Holiday Village in The Entrance NSW seeks a proactive Office Manager to run the day-to-day operation of the park. You will live on site in the manager's residence and be on call for after-hours emergencies.

Qualifications

• Experience in accommodation, hospitality or holiday park management, or a similar office and operations role.
• Confident with bookkeeping, reconciliations and office systems
• A strong leader who can manage, train and motivate staff
• Marketing-minded and comfortable with social media and online booking platforms
• Proactive: you fix problems before they happen and look for ways to improve
• Happy to live on site, work weekends and peak periods, and be on call after hours

Responsibilities

• Lead the team: manage, train and develop staff, schedule cleaners and handle HR with External Grounds Manager
• Keep standards high: check cabins before guests arrive, oversee cleaning quality, and order linen, cleaning supplies, guest consumables and front-office stock
• Run the office: end-of-day closing, and debtor management for tourists and permanent residents, managing and taking bookings, customer and resident management
• Grow occupancy: promote the park through social media, booking sites, direct marketing, special offers and group promotions
• Look after customers: listen to guest feedback, improve our services and encourage positive online reviews
• Manage suppliers and stakeholders: keep supplier relationships strong and invoices accurate, and work with government and non-government agencies on low-cost housing opportunities
• Report and improve: give the Directors regular reports, work to agreed budgets and targets, and look for cost savings and new sources of revenue
