Job summary

Visy Coburg Beverage Cans Plant is seeking a skilled Electrical Line Maintainer to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. This role operates on a rotating 12-hour shift roster (days 7am-7pm and nights 7pm-7am) with 2 on/2 off cycles, delivering fault-finding, preventive maintenance and high-quality production.

You will work with PLCs, automation equipment and lean initiatives, bringing an A-Grade Electrical License, strong problem-solving and safety commitment.

• Preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery.
• Operate a production line to ensure minimal downtime and high quality.

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery.
• Operate a production line to ensure minimal downtime and high quality.
• Set up and fine tuning of machines for optimal productivity.
• Work with high-speed manufacturing equipment, understanding production demands.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.
• Become involved in continuous improvement initiatives and project work.
• Support planned maintenance and changeovers.
• Work closely with maintenance, engineering and production teams.

About The Opportunity

We’re seeking a skilled Electrical Line Maintainer to join our Coburg Beverage Cans Plant. This is a full-time permanent role on a rotating shift roster.

Shift Details

• 12-hour shifts, Day - 7am - 7pm and Night - 7pm - 7am.
• 2 On, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off - swapping between Day and Night every 2 week cycle
• Weekends and Public Holidays as part of roster paid at penalty rates.

What You’ll Do

What You Will Bring
