Job summary

Visy Group is seeking a skilled Electrical Supervisor for the Warwick Farm Board Plant on a day shift. This full-time role offers a 35-hour week with paid overtime and from 6am to 2pm, Monday to Friday, with weekends available.

You will report to the Maintenance Manager and help keep the plant running safely and efficiently. The role requires electrical qualifications with a licence (Supervisor ideal), manufacturing maintenance experience, and leadership ability.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualifications and licence (Supervisor preferred).
• Manufacturing experience within a maintenance team is desirable.
• Leadership experience or passion for mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the electrical department in collaboration with the Mechanical Supervisor.
• Provide electrical support to production and maintain machinery to minimise downtime.
• Perform routine electrical tests, planned maintenance, and attend breakdowns.
• Oversee installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Apply continuous improvement to safety, efficiency and quality.
• Mentor the electrical team on best practices and safety.

About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled Electrical Supervisor to join our Warwick Farm Board Plant. This is a full-time permanent role based on a Day shift, 35-hour week with paid overtime available.

• 6am – 2pm Monday – Friday, with weekend’s available
• Daily overtime applies after 35-hour week and all weekend hours paid at double time

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Overlook and supervise daily operations of the electrical department, working hand in hand with the Mechanical Supervisor to ensure the site is supported by Maintenance.
• Ensure ongoing electrical support to the production team and upkeep of machinery and equipment to minimise downtime.
• Perform routine electrical tests, complete planned maintenance and attend breakdowns.
• Oversee and support installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Use continuous improvement to ensure optimal safety, efficiency and quality.
• Mentor and guide electrical team on best practice and safety.

What You’ll Bring

• Electrical Qualifications with an Electrical Licence (ideally Supervisor).
• Must have Manufacturing experience, ideally within a maintenance team.
• Leadership experience or a passion for mentoring junior team members.
• Experience in Automated machinery, PLC’s and Drives beneficial.
• Adhere, uphold and maintain OHS policies and procedures.
