Job summary

Visy is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to join the Warwick Farm Board Plant on a full-time, day-shift role. You’ll lead the electrical team, coordinate with the Mechanical Supervisor, and ensure safe, reliable operation of all electrical systems within the site.

The role offers a 35-hour week with paid overtime, weekend availability, and opportunities for training and career growth within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Electrical Licence required; Supervisor preferred.
• Manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Leadership experience or mentoring skills.
• Adherence to OHS policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Overlook and supervise daily electrical operations with Maintenance support.
• Ensure ongoing electrical support to production and machinery upkeep.
• Perform routine electrical tests, maintenance, and breakdown response.
• Oversee installation and maintenance of equipment and machinery.
• Apply continuous improvement for safety, efficiency and quality.
• Mentor electrical team on best practices and safety.

About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled Electrical Supervisor to join our Warwick Farm Board Plant. This is a full-time permanent role based on a Day shift, 35-hour week with paid overtime available.

• 6am – 2pm Monday – Friday, with weekend’s available
• Daily overtime applies after 35-hour week and all weekend hours paid at double time

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Overlook and supervise daily operations of the electrical department, working hand in hand with the Mechanical Supervisor to ensure the site is supported by Maintenance.
• Ensure ongoing electrical support to the production team and upkeep of machinery and equipment to minimise downtime.
• Perform routine electrical tests, complete planned maintenance and attend breakdowns.
• Oversee and support installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Use continuous improvement to ensure optimal safety, efficiency and quality.
• Mentor and guide electrical team on best practice and safety.

What You’ll Bring

• Electrical Qualifications with an Electrical Licence (ideally Supervisor).
• Must have Manufacturing experience, ideally within a maintenance team.
• Leadership experience or a passion for mentoring junior team members.
• Experience in Automated machinery, PLC’s and Drives beneficial.
• Adhere, uphold and maintain OHS policies and procedures.
