Job summary

Moonee Valley Libraries is seeking a friendly Library Customer Service and Program Support Officer to help deliver welcoming and accessible services. You will assist customers with resources and technology, support story time sessions, and help with opening/closing procedures across locations.

The role requires Year 12 and frontline service experience, with strong communication and digital skills. This is a part-time position with Saturday rosters and a starting hourly rate of $39.60 plus 12%

Qualifications

Year 12 completion and frontline customer service experience.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Comfort with computers, mobile devices and digital resources.
Ability to work with diverse community and team.
Public library experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, responsive and inclusive customer service at the library.
Assist customers with computers, photocopiers, Wi‑Fi, library apps, eBooks and digital devices.
Support day-to-day library operations including opening/closing when rostered.
Assist with story time sessions for babies, toddlers and preschool children.
Work with colleagues and support other library locations as required.
