Job summary

You will provide proactive customer service, assist users with technologies, supervise staff when on duty, and help maintain the library collection to meet community needs.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Library and Information Services; eligible for ALIA membership.
• Experience delivering customer service in a public library setting.
• Strong IT and digital literacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality customer service across multiple library locations.
• Assist users with technologies including computers, eResources, and mobile devices.
• Supervise staff when rostered as senior officer on duty.
• Maintain and improve library collections to meet community needs.
• Plan, deliver, and evaluate adult programs and events.
