Job summary

Blue Mountains Library is seeking an Information and Support Services Officer to deliver centralised, customer-focused information and support to all library branches. You will administer the Library Management System and integrated technologies, including the library website, and produce statistical reports.

You will catalogue materials, coordinate the SharePoint-based procedures manual, train library staff, and cover circulation desk shifts as required.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to identify priorities and provide effective staff and customer support.
• Experience with information management systems and technology.

Responsibilities

• Administer day-to-day operation of the Library Management System and integrated technologies, including the library website.
• Produce statistical and other specialised reports.
• Catalogue library materials.
• Coordinate the Library procedure manual (SharePoint).
• Train library staff.
• Cover circulation desk shifts as required.
