Job summary

Blue Mountains City Council – Katoomba NSW is seeking an Information & Support Services Officer to manage day-to-day Library Management System operations and associated technologies, including the library website. You will produce reports, catalogue materials, coordinate the SharePoint-based procedure manual, and train staff.

Circulation desk shifts may be required. The role offers a base salary of AU$79,483 gross per year, 12% superannuation, and annual salary increases.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with information management systems and related technology.
• Ability to identify priorities and provide effective staff and customer support.

Responsibilities

• Administer day-to-day operation of the Library Management System and integrated technologies, including the library website.
• Produce statistical and other specialised reports.
• Catalogue library materials.
• Coordinate the Library procedure manual (SharePoint).
• Train Library staff.
• Cover circulation desk shifts as required.
