QCB Queensland Country Bank in Cairns City invites an experienced Lending Specialist to join our team. You will identify opportunities, engage with members, and structure financing solutions tailored to their goals.

In this full-time role, you will conduct lending appointments from initial contact through post-settlement, build relationships, and support branches across the Far North. You will contribute to delivering outstanding service while complying with credit standards and data integrity,

Qualifications

• Strong banking knowledge with an understanding of financial analysis and credit standards.
• Mortgage and SME lending experience.
• Ability to identify opportunities and build strong relationships to grow our business.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including negotiation and time management.
• High attention to detail and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Initiating quality conversations with members to determine goals and aspirations
• Providing exceptional service to members and structuring deals
• Undertaking lending appointments and completing applications from start through to post settlement
• Retaining existing members by offering appropriate financial solutions
• Providing coaching to developing Lenders
• Contacting prospective members referred by our direct channel
• Developing a network of business referral partners to build the business organically
• Supporting the region which includes branches in Cairns, Atherton and Weipa
