St John's Primary School, Lambton is seeking a permanent full-time School Learning Support Teacher to join the team for the 2027 school year with a possibility of starting sooner if available.

The Learning Support Teacher (K-6) in a Catholic school has a unique role to play and is assigned with the task of ensuring each child has the opportunity to grow both academically and spiritually and to live a purposeful life.

Qualifications

• Experience with students with disability (K-6).
• Ability to prepare Personalised Plans and Learner Profiles.
• Knowledge of Disability legislation and NCCD requirements.
• Experience delivering staff and parent professional learning.

Responsabilités

• Identify students with special educational needs and consult with parents and staff.
• Deliver intervention, differentiate curriculum and assist in documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers to design and monitor adjustments for learners.
• Contribute to professional development and staff training.
