Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Demonstrating high-level expertise in teaching and learning practice
• Modeling exemplary classroom practice including through teaching demonstration lessons
• Working with school leadership to develop a shared view of effective teacher practice
• Leading and modelling whole-school improvement strategies related to curriculum planning and delivery
• Leading professional learning and feedback processes for teacher practice
• Providing evidence-based feedback to teaching staff to inform development
• Advising on contexts and strategies shaping professional learning
• Supervising and mentoring student teachers and coaching staff
• Modeling use of student data to inform teaching approaches
• Developing school-wide professional learning structures and protocols through PLCs
• Modeling reflective practice and inquiry to improve teaching
