Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of the curriculum and ability to model exemplary teaching.
• Ability to implement high-impact teaching strategies and monitor student progress.
• Experience in using data to inform teaching and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with staff and the school community.
• Ability to lead professional learning and coach teachers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrating high-level expertise in teaching and learning practice.
• Model classrooms and demonstration lessons.
• Work with leadership to develop effective teaching practices and school priorities.
• Lead and model whole-school improvement strategies related to curriculum planning and delivery.
• Provide professional learning and feedback protocols for staff development.
• Provide evidence-based feedback to teaching staff to inform their effectiveness.
• Model use of student data to inform teaching approaches and student progress.
• Mentor and supervise teachers and student teachers; coach colleagues.
• Develop and promote school-wide professional learning structures and PLCs.
