Job summary

AbilitiesNQ in Townsville is seeking a proactive People & Culture Officer with a primary focus on Learning & Development to design, develop and deliver training across the organisation. You will also administer our LMS and support HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle.

You will monitor mandatory training, support recruitment, onboarding and employee engagement, and collaborate with leaders across multiple service locations to build workforce capability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a generalist HR and L&D role.
• Proven ability to design, develop and deliver workplace training (faceto-face and online).
• Experience using and administering LMS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver engaging training programs and resources.
• Administer and maintain the LMS, including enrolments and completion records.
• Coordinate training sessions delivered by managers, SMEs and external providers.
• Develop training calendars, induction and refresher schedules.
• Identify learning needs and work with managers to build capability.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Support onboarding, performance processes and HR documentation.
