Job summary

MAYDAY Recruitment Group is seeking a hands-on Learning & Development Officer to support a major TechnologyOne ERP transformation for a local government organisation in Victoria. You will design and deliver learning to about 900 employees, covering instructional design, eLearning, facilitation and hypercare across the full learning lifecycle.

Join a dynamic team and contribute to Training Needs Analysis, content creation, co-facilitation of sessions and ongoing capability-building as the program

Qualifications

• Experience in Learning & Development and instructional design.
• Experience delivering training in technology or transformation projects.
• Hands-on experience with Articulate Rise is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Training Needs Analysis workshops to identify learner requirements.
• Design role-based learning journeys and materials.
• Develop and build eLearning using Articulate Rise; create SCORM content.
• Create quick reference guides and instructional videos.
• Localise learning content for organisational processes.
• Co-facilitate instructor-led and flipped classroom sessions.
• Support go-live training and hypercare activities.
• Collaborate with SMEs to validate content and minimise rework.
• Publish and maintain content in LearnUpon and intranet.

Learning & Development Officer | ERP Transformation | Design and deliver learning across a major TechnologyOne program.

• Gain end-to-end L&D exposure, including instructional design, eLearning, facilitation and hypercare.

About the Company

Our client is a leading local government organisation undertaking a significant, multi-year TechnologyOne ERP transformation. They are looking for an experienced Learning & Development Officer to join the program and play a hands-on role in preparing approximately 900 employees for the successful adoption of a new ERP platform.

Working across the full learning lifecycle, you will contribute to Training Needs Analysis, design and build learning content, co-facilitate training, support go-live and provide ongoing capability support throughout the program.This is a varied role that will suit an L&D professional who enjoys being hands-on, creative and close to the learner experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in Training Needs Analysis workshops and identify learner requirements across multiple functional areas.
• Develop role-based learning journeys, learning materials and training resources.
• Design and build eLearning using Articulate Rise, including SCORM content for LearnUpon.
• Create Quick Reference Guides, instructional videos, instructor-led materials, pre-work and knowledge checks.
• Localise TechnologyOne learning content to reflect organisational processes and ways of working.
• Work closely with Subject Matter Experts to validate content and minimise rework.
• Support the publishing and maintenance of learning content across LearnUpon and the intranet.
• Co-facilitate and independently deliver instructor-led and flipped classroom training.
• Support train-the-trainer, manager activation and capability-building sessions.
• Deliver hypercare drop-ins, targeted clinics and refresher sessions following go-live.

Skills and Experience

• Experience in Learning & Development, instructional design, training or learning delivery, ideally within a technology or transformation environment.
• Experience designing and developing engaging learning content across multiple formats.
• Hands-on experience with Articulate Rise highly regarded.
• Experience developing SCORM/eLearning content and working with an LMS.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt delivery to different audiences.
• Experience developing QRGs, instructional videos, facilitator guides and other learning resources.
• Experience supporting an ERP, technology implementation or organisational transformation will be highly regarded.
