Job summary

genU in Geelong/Melbourne seeks a Workforce Team Leader to support Victoria-wide Social Enterprise sites. You will lead Workforce Coordinators, oversee recruitment and training, and ensure NDIs-aligned processes while promoting an inclusive workplace.

You will drive workforce planning, develop career pathways, and build strong partnerships with schools and community organisations to create meaningful employment opportunities for people with disability.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in disability services, community services or related sectors.
• Strong people leadership with coaching and mentoring skills.
• Experience in recruitment, workforce development and stakeholder engagement.
• Solid knowledge of NDIS requirements, employment law and compliance.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; collaborative across stakeholders.
• Passion for social impact and inclusive employment for people with disability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Workforce Coordinator team across genU sites, ensuring compliant, best-practice processes.
• Drive recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning to maintain a strong pipeline of employees.
• Develop and oversee training, career development and transition programs for employees.
• Build and maintain relationships with schools, community organisations, employment services and disability partners.
• Monitor workforce performance, compliance and reporting to drive improvement.
• Foster a positive, inclusive culture that empowers people with disability.
