Job summary

Able Community Support Services in Townsville, QLD, is seeking an experienced Team Leader to guide our growing support team in delivering high-quality, person-centred services. This full-time, 12-month contract role requires strong leadership and a deep understanding of the NDIS environment.

You will oversee support workers, ensure compliance and collaborate with participants, families and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for the people we support.

Qualifications

• NDIS experience with understanding of participant needs, compliance requirements and quality service delivery.
• Strong communication with participants, families, support coordinators, stakeholders and team members.
• Proven leadership, mentoring and team management experience with accountability and positive culture.
• Hands-on disability support background with person-centred practice in complex environments.

Support Work Team Leader – Key Selection Criteria

• NDIS Experience Required
  Strong understanding of the NDIS, participant needs, compliance requirements and quality service delivery.
• Excellent Communication Skills
  Confident communicating with participants, families, support coordinators, stakeholders and team members.
• Demonstrated Leadership & Team Management Experience
  Experience supervising, mentoring and supporting staff while promoting accountability and a positive team culture.
• Strong Support Work Background
  Hands-on experience in disability support with a sound understanding of person-centred practice and complex support environments.
