Job summary

The Royal Melbourne Hospital in Parkville, VIC, is seeking a Workforce Management Systems Team Leader to guide a specialist group that supports rostering technology across RMH. You will help optimise RosterOn and support the transition to Optima, while coordinating with Payroll Systems & Technology and stakeholders in Payroll, People & Culture, Digital and operations.

Qualifications

• You are a workforce management professional with leadership in rostering or scheduling systems.
• You know RosterOn, Optima or similar platforms and how to upgrade or transform systems.
• You can balance policy, compliance, and operational needs with strong stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a specialist workforce management systems team.
• Manage and optimise the RosterOn platform.
• Support strategic planning and preparation for future Optima implementation.
• Oversee system enhancements, upgrades and governance activities.
• Ensure workforce management systems support policy and industrial compliance requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation opportunities.
• Lead stakeholder engagement, training and change adoption initiatives.
• Support workforce planning and operational rostering outcomes through technology solutions.
