Job summary

Four Points By Sheraton in Perth seeks a Chef de Partie to lead fast-paced prep and support the Catering team in delivering exceptional dining experiences for staff and clients.

The role is full-time, based in Perth with standard hours 7:00am–3:30pm, plus occasional evenings or weekends. You will mentor kitchen staff, plan menus, maintain HACCP standards and ensure cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• Relevant hospitality/culinary qualification.
• 3 years full-time employment experience in a fine dining, corporate or catering environment.
• Passion for producing high quality, well-presented food.
• Strong knowledge of day-to-day kitchen operations and strict food safety, hygiene and allergen protocols.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of food for client functions and staff events.
• Assist in the preparation of menus for all meals and catered events.
• Mentor and train kitchen staff for smooth production.
• Ensure food prepared and presented to company standards with quality and consistency.
• Oversee kitchen hygiene, cleanliness and compliance with WA health and safety regs.
• Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment, inventory and stock levels.
• Assist with online ordering, invoicing and pricing.
• Step in for the Sous Chef when required.
