Job summary

Four Points by Sheraton in Perth, WA seeks an experienced Chef De Partie to lead kitchen production and support the Head Chef in delivering high-quality cuisine for a vibrant food and beverage operation. You will supervise junior cooks, manage portions and plating, and ensure impeccable presentation during service.

Ideal candidates have a Commercial Cookery qualification with relevant chef experience, strong team leadership, and a proactive, energetic approach to working in a busy hotel kitchen

Qualifications

• Must have Trade Industry Qualification or Commercial Cookery qualification.
• Demonstrated passion for the hospitality industry.
• Relevant experience in a similar Chef De Partie role.
• Working rights in Australia required.
• Enthusiasm to advance your culinary career.
• Self-motivation and energy in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, solutions-focused mindset and can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the preparation and production of all hot or cold food items for the outlet.
• Assist Head Chef in ensuring quality, consistency and production across areas of responsibility.
• Supervise and coordinate cooks and kitchen staff during service.
• Plan and manage food quantities and plating requirements for the operation.
• Ensure proper portions, arrangements and garnishes on all dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and efficiency of your section across services.
• Deliver food that exceeds travellers' expectations and promotes service excellence.
• Understand travellers' requirements and contribute to a positive guest experience.
• Assist the team with prep and execution during service periods and uphold food safety standards.

Position Summary:

• Supervise the preparation and production of all hot or cold food items for the food and beverage outlet

• Plan and manage food quantities and plating requirements for the food operation

• Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a way that aims to exceed travellers expectations
• Understand traveller’s requirements and deliver service excellence with each travellers experience
• Assist the team with preparation and execution during service periodsMaintain strong food safety and property standards
