Job summary

Northern Star is seeking a skilled Maintenance Leading Hand at our Jundee Operations, FIFO ex Perth, 8 days on/6 off. You will lead a mechanical team, drive safe, efficient maintenance of fixed plant and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Key requirements include trade certification in Mechanical Fitting or Boilermaking, Schedule 26, and proven fault-finding and diagnostic abilities on hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Join a values-driven environment with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading hand with fault-finding and diagnostics in a mining setting.
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic equipment experience highly regarded.
  • Fixed plant environment exposure is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance on Fixed Plant Equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow schedule, scope and quality standards within deadlines.
  • Order parts and materials for Work Orders as directed by Supervisor.
