Job summary

Northern Star Mining Services Limited is seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Fitter to maintain and repair fixed plant equipment across our Jundee operations in the Goldfields, WA. The role operates on an 8 days on / 6 days off permanent roster with FIFO from Perth.

Key duties include routine inspections, tooling preparation, and CMMS data integrity. Trade qualifications in mechanical fitting are essential, along with a current Australian driver's licence and CMMS proficiency.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated fault-finding and diagnostic experience on fixed plant equipment (crusher, mill, pumps) is preferred.
• Strong willingness to contribute to maintenance team and site reliability.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections of fixed plant and implement preventative maintenance.
• Assess jobs, obtain tools, and complete assigned work.
• Service breakdowns for pumps and conveyors; perform parts replacements and repairs.
• Maintain quality CMMS data with accurate history and hours worked.
• Participate in on-call roster as required.
