Job summary

Emeco is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for Prominent Hill, SA to lead a crew in mining maintenance, prioritise safety and drive efficient, cost-effective practices on site.

The role requires strong mobile equipment experience and a recognised Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Fitter trade, with a 2/2 FIFO roster from Adelaide and fortnightly pay. Excellent facilities and a dynamic site culture are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ Maintenance Supervisor experience leading teams in mining.
• Strong mobile equipment experience across breakdowns, diagnostics and repairs.
• Tech savvy you'll need to be confident with Microsoft 365 and maintenance systems such as AMT.
• Strong maintenance and reliability knowledge with a focus on safety.
• Recognised Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Fitter Trade Qualification.
• Full Australian Working Rights.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front and manage and coordinate your crew and facilities to keep preventative maintenance and breakdowns moving safely, efficiently and cost effectively.
• Be visible, not just a name on the roster and provide genuine leadership, mentoring and support to your team.
• Work as one team and collaborate with your crew to develop and maintain efficient, productive and practical maintenance practices across site.
• Safety first, always. Champion a strong safety culture, promote safe work practices and make sure everyone heads home the same way they arrived.
• Keep the numbers moving and make sure maintenance and optimisation targets are achieved on time, on budget and without compromising safety or quality.
• Build strong relationships and work closely with Emeco customers and key stakeholders to keep things running smoothly and deliver on the bigger organisational goals.
