Job summary
Northern Star Mining Services Limited is seeking a Technical Services Superintendent for our Jundee Operations, operating on an 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth. This role bridges technical work with mine leadership, guiding engineers, foremen and shift supervisors to optimise underground production.
The successful candidate will bring strong underground production and planning experience, extensive knowledge of narrow-vein mining, and proven ability to lead teams while applying
Qualifications
- Strong underground production and planning experience with narrow-vein mining.
- Proven leadership of professional teams and ability to mentor engineers and technicians.
- Proficiency in mine planning and design software, especially Deswik CAD, Scheduler and Ventsim.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical teams to deliver value for the mine and stakeholders.
- Monitor daily production performance and project progress; implement improvements.
- Provide clear directions to Engineers, Foremen and Shift Supervisors on schedules and plans.
- Identify business improvements and cost‑effective solutions.
- Coach and develop engineering staff through coaching and performance reviews.
