Job summary

Birrong Sports Club, part of the Bankstown Sports group, seeks an experienced Duty Manager for Gaming & Bar Operations. You will lead frontline teams, oversee gaming operations, and ensure high standards of service and compliance in a busy club environment.

You will bring RSA/RCG credentials, strong people skills and a track record in gaming leadership, with flexibility for a rotating roster including evenings and weekends. This is a hands-on role reporting to the Venue Manager.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience within a registered club or gaming venue.
• Strong gaming operational knowledge and compliance understanding.
• Experience as a Duty Manager, Gaming Supervisor or similar leadership role.
• Current RSA and RCG Competency Cards.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop teams.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution and customer service skills.
• Experience with cash handling, reconciliations and shift reporting.
• Flexibility to work rotating rosters including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontline teams across gaming, bar, food & beverage and venue operations.
• Oversee gaming operations and maintain service and compliance standards.
• Champion exceptional member and guest experiences.
• Coach and develop team members.
• Manage escalated customer enquiries and service recovery.
• Ensure RSA, RCG, WHS compliance and club procedures.
• Maintain high presentation, safety and operational standards.
• Oversee cash handling, reconciliations and shift reporting.
• Assist rostering, stock control, security and venue requirements.
• Support promotions, events and member engagement activities.
• Provide decisive operational leadership during shifts.
• Foster accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
